Peter Schiff - Go Subscribe to the Guy
Schiff riffs off several different bits of information related to the fed moves. The most prescient bit though is noting consumer prices. People talk about a deflationary environment and that is true with stock prices and housing, in other words assets (which you should be continuing to scoop up on the cheap.) However all the items you need for day to day living are not in an deflationary environment. Your milk, eggs, utility bills and gas are not getting cheaper in fact quite the opposite. When totaled as a whole they are going up 5% a year and his point, that this is in a DEFLATIONARY environment. What will happen to those prices when the bandwagon realizes it is inflationary instead of deflationary? It will make 5% a fond memory.
BTW, I'm actually looking into some chickens to add to my garden and you should check the laws in your area. Eggs are good protein.
