Regardless of whether we trust the estimates of the CBO (which we should) or the President, do either of them look especially promising?
When the "best" estimates are "only" half trillion dollar deficits then we are screwed. Can we please somehow go back to the "irresponsible" budget deficits of the Bush era that actually took a couple years to add a trillion dollars to the deficit?
